About Us

Amy Tamargo is the founder and CEO of Tamargo Consulting. Amy received her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida. In 2016, after a 20-year career as a lawyer and mediator, Amy joined University Consultants of America, where she served as Vice President of Client Relations and assisted over 200 students in achieving their college admissions goals. In addition to advising undergraduate applicants, Amy has successfully guided students through professional and graduate school admissions. Immediately prior to joining UCA, Amy served for six years as a college resource volunteer at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Florida.
