Amy possesses a wealth of information about colleges around the country and has comprehensive knowledge about the many intricacies of the college application process. Even more impressive to me, though, was the amount of time Amy invested to get to know my daughter and learn from her what colleges might be the best match for her. It was clear that, to Amy, our daughter was more than just test scores and GPA. As a counselor, Amy was fantastic. At the start of the process, my daughter felt overwhelmed and had a lot of stress and anxiety. However, Amy was always supportive, optimistic and encouraging. Whenever we had any questions, Amy was very responsive and informative. She also devoted extensive time to help my daughter improve her college essay-writing skills. Through her support and clear guidance, Amy instilled in my daughter the confidence to successfully navigate the process. In short, I have no doubt that Amy played in huge role in guiding my daughter to admission at the school of her first choice.
As a newly-minted Vanderbilt Commodore, I wanted to thank you for all your help this year. I don’t know what I would have done without your guidance, reassurance, and ample essay edits. You helped me feel confident in addressing the whole college process. And, most importantly, you helped me put the college process behind me and the experience ahead. Would it be repetitive if I said I AM SOO EXCITED!?
I just received an email from the University of Virginia School of Medicine Admissions Office that I was accepted to be a part of the Class of 2026! I am so excited to have received this offer, and I can't express how thankful I am to you for providing your support to my application throughout this process. The advice you gave me when I was writing my primary and secondary applications was invaluable. To be able to come back to UVA as a medical student is truly an unprecedented opportunity for me, and none of this would have been possible without your help. Once again, thank you so much!
